Did Altec ever publish numbers on how many drivers such as the 411, 416, and 515 were manufactored? Most of these have serial numbers so someone was keeping score.

I suspect you are chasing a shadow. Lots of records were just plain thrown away during the 80's bankruptcy, so I doubt anybody at all knows.
